SP13 first boiler operated

South pars development phase 13 first boiler was operated by Mapna Group to produce steam in the unit 121 of refinery.

"With regard to complete preparation of utility units, raw water and DM was provided from sources outside the refinery to produce steam. So the processes requiring water were accomplished before water arrival from shared basin", project director said.

PayyamMotamed announced that by supplying continuous water from the basin which has been started yesterday on November 24 ,  unit 127 to produce boiler feed water as well as other utilities will come into operation as soon as possible.

Units of air, nitrogen, water distribution, gas distribution, flare, fire water supply, and steam are now under production. As scheduled, by launching one gas row and utilizing the phases 6-7-8 gas, refinery phase 13 is expected to reach initial production by the end of coming winter, this official said.

South pars phase 13 has been designed to extract 56 million cubic meters of sour gas, daily production of 50 million cubic meters of methane, 2900 tons of liquid gas (LPG), 2750 tons of ethane, 75000 barrels of gas condensate, and 400 tons of sulfur. This project is being implemented with the consortium of MAPNA group, Iranian marine industrial company (SADRA), petro payedar Iranian company.
