Delivery of 22-24th phase’s platform began
The delivery operation of SPD-22 platform has begun from Sadra yard.
This platform which is designed for 22nd phase of South Pars gas project, is 95.5% completed and shipped to the location after loading and bracing by 5000 tons crane on 124 FLB barge.
This platform will produce 14 MCM/day enriched gas from South Pars reservoir. Then it will be transferred to onshore refineries for sweetening operation.
FarhadIzadjou, the manager of development project of 22nd, 23rd and 24th phases explained about progress of project: “The development project which has begun in 2010 will be completed next year. The platforms of this project costUSD650 million and the whole project investment already reached to USD 5.2 billion. The development project is 88% complete by now”.
The platform was built by 10.000.600 man hours in Sadra yard. There are three other platforms to be built by Sadra Company which is planned to be ready in next six months.
The 22-24 phases of South Pars project is designed to produce 56 MCUM soar gas, 50 MCUM sweet gas, 2900 tons of LPG, 2750 tons of ethane, 75,000 barrels of condensate and 400 tons of sulfur every day. Petro Sina Aria and Sadra companies are the development project contractors.
