ASSALUYEH – the second platform for south pars phase14 was successfully installed on its tripod in the sea. Reported by public relations department of Pars Oil and Gas Company (POGC), having built, loaded out, and sailed out, satellite platform for phase14 was installed today (September 4). The satellite platform, 14C, was sailed out from SADRA (Bushehr) by carrying vessel FLB124 on Saturday. This structure weighing 2200 tons installed on its tripod by the installer vessel named HL5000. According to the director of phase 14, Hamid Reza Masoudi, the platform will be operational soon with the capacity of 500 million cubic feet (equivalent to 14.1 million cubic meters). The first platform of this development plan is 14A which is the main platform for 14C. It was already put into operations in April with the capacity of 500 million cubic feet too. As 14C implemented, both platforms produce 1 billion cubic feet a day that is equivalent to the production of one standard phase. It is worth noting that all operations on the construction, loading, transfer and installation of the platform 14C, as well as pipeline operations, drilling and construction of the onshore refinery, have been carried out by domestic experts.
