Determination of Farzad gas field by next three months
The deputy CEO of National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) for engineering and development affairs announced that Farzad A and B gas field will be determined by the next three months saying that serious talks with Indian company (ONGC) is under way to develop Farzad B gas field.

Describing the performance of POGC in the last Iranian calendar year (until March 20, 2019), in a press conference held in the sideline of the 24th international petroleum exhibition, Reza Dehghan said operating phases 13 and 22-24 as well as two platforms of phase 14 led daily production capacity from south pars field to increase 85 million cubic meters of sour gas and the same procedure is continued for the remaining activities of these phases to catch up with more 60 million cubic meters a day in this current year.

Public relations reported. Referring to Kish gas field, he said at present this gas field is producing 28 million cubic meters a day that we are looking for a solution to connect the field to onshore refinery.

Subsequently, we are seeking for an investor to develop the field which will finally result in producing 85 million cubic meters a day.

About phase 11, this official said Total withdrew from the plan but negotiation is still under way with the Chinese company (CNPC) to resolve existing problems and execute the agreement. He stressed if the negotiation do not solve the problems, we will make other arrangements.

However, Petropars as a member of this consortium is ready to execute the first phase of this project.
